Do Mobile Applications for Car Crashes Help?

Here's the scoop on Mobile Applications for people who get into an accident.  I think that most people don't think they will ever be in some sort of accident.  Sooner or later however, they will and they won't be prepared.  Then all heck breaks out!

Sya you just crashed your dads new Corvette?  Yikes!  What do you?  Do you run away?  Do you lie and tell him somebody stole the car and they are the one's that wrecked it?  Or, do you join the Foreign Legion?
It kind of depends on what kind of Dad you have.

Here's one way to thrown them a curve.  Chances are both of your parents have been in an accident at some point of time.  You can't say to the, "Heck, you were in an accident in 1956".  But you can say that you were prepared both physically and financially.  Enter the Injury Mobile Applications for smartphone users.

Find one that's FREE to download and easy to use.  We have looked out there and see about 10 of them so you have a choice.  Through the grapevine I have discovered a ne3w one that's coming out soon.  So, I contacted them and asked them if I could see what it looks like.  It's hot.  Really easy to use.  Check it out at http://www.fenderbender.us/

Wheter they help you or not, you have to figure that part out because I am no attorney and I don't understand how all that stuff works.

  1. I would be interested in what the lawyers out there have to say. It is only a matter of time before we all have a "fenderbender"!

  2. I had a potential client in my office yesterday.

She is a sophisticated, smartphone user; working soccer mom. March 2010: She was trying to get her kids somewhere on-time (soccer practice, school event or some such thing) driving in rush hour traffic when they were hit from behind in a 3 car, chain–reaction collision.

She was the front car. The bumper was damaged; no blood; no broken bones; no need for an ambulance or to bother the police. She was a bit rattled, the kids were upset and they were late for wherever they were headed. She got the insurance info from driver of the 3rd car and wrote down his name on a scrap of paper that has since been misplaced. The middle driver was also late and couldn’t be bothered to wait around once it appeared that nobody needed emergency care.

She felt “shaken, but OK “, so went on her way. As time passed, she began getting horrible episodes of vertigo that all of her doctors say was caused by the accident. The scrap of paper with the limited info on it was soon lost. We know the insurance company, but not the driver’s name, the registered owner, or the driver of the middle car. We have no photos. Pursuing a claim for her will be quite a challenge, even though the collision has significantly impacted her life. She said that at the accident scene she “knew she had to get some information, but she really wasn’t thinking all that clearly, things were a bit of a blur…” If she had only had Fender Bender...

  3. OK - I get it, when an accicdent happens you become disoriented and don't know what to do. You're just not thinking clearly so an application that leads you through the process seems would be much more helpful than walking around in a daze.
